Following government advice, please note that Kirton Parish Church, in common with all churches, has been closed until further notice.

If you have an enquiry, or you are worried and would like to speak to someone at this difficult time, please ring our Interim Minister, Reverend Sue Rose on 07748 982128.

If you have a baptism or wedding booked we will be in touch. The Church of England website has the latest guidance regarding funerals.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We are praying for those effected by the virus, and for those who are working hard to care for those who are sick. If you are feeling isolated and would like to talk to someone or would like to request prayers, then please ring the mobile number on 07598 987199, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. If you need practical help, for instance if you are self-isolating and need shopping we will try to help. We want to look out for and support the most vulnerable members of our community in Kirton.

A Prayer

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy
in this time of uncertainty and distress.
Sustain and support the anxious and fearful,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may rejoice in your comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Amen.

We are regularly wiping down surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes. We ask that if you come into church you follow the guidelines for social distancing by staying 6 feet away from anyone else in the building.

If you have a baptism or wedding booked we will be contacting you in the next few days. Please feel free to ring the above number if you would like to chat to me.
